2015 was a tremendously busy year for me—apart from having a day job and writing for the blog, I enrolled in Fashion Makeup and took up a second diploma in Marketing. Because of this, I had to give up a few things to make way for others, which included playing Ultimate.
Back when I was still playing competitively, I used to play Ultimate at least twice a week.
Sundays were always tournament days, which lasted the whole day under the heat of the sun. Obviously, being very particular about my skin, I always lathered on sunblock all over my face and body. My go-to sunblock was Neutrogena’s Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock because it wasn’t sticky like others, yet it gave me the protection I needed. (Always remember: the sun is your skin’s biggest enemy.) I would get this from Watsons, where a bunch of other brands were available to fight UV rays or to cool down sunburned skin.Lately, I’ve had a little more time in my hands so I’ve been playing Ultimate again, and I’ve been attending yoga classes at Urban Ashram. I’ll also be running at the Color Manila Run, happening on March 6 at the SM Mall of Asia Grounds. In line with this, I’m giving away one prepaid card to a lucky reader, so we can do the run together!
All you have to do is repost the poster below on Instagram (make sure your account is public), and use the hashtags #WatsonsSunWarrior, #SunWarriorChallengeWithGretasJunkyard, and #sparkitph. I’ll be selecting a random winner by February 27!
