Hi, everyone! Welcome to Greta’s Junkyard — a dumpsite of my favorite things. If you’re new here, my name is Gretchen Gatan Fragada. I’m a writer and editor based in Metro Manila, Philippines. I’m the founder and editor-in-chief of The Metro Edit as well. Here on Greta’s Junkyard, I like to write about beauty, lifestyle, travel, and occasionally, food.
And if you’re searching for party trays in Manila to order from, I’ve compiled a list of the ones I’ve tried and highly recommend! These are usually the places I order from whenever I host get-togethers at our house, also known as the #FraggyHome.18 Party Trays in Manila I’ve Tried and Highly Recommend
1. Mesa Vuestra
First on the list is Mesa Vuestra, which I believe started at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. They offer classic Filipino-Spanish dishes for your table that can trump the ones in restaurants. When the lockdown was first implemented, I ordered a tray of their Callos Madrileños (P1,500) that my husband Cayo and I ate for a week. I loved it so much that I ordered another party tray months later when I finally saw my family for the first time—so they could also try it! Aside from the Callos Madrileños, I highly recommend their variety of paellas. I recently ordered one during a family lunch at home. Everyone couldn’t stop talking about how generous the sahog was!
2. Catering Kanteen
Up next is Catering Kanteen, a party tray machine that offers food trays, loaf cakes, and packed meals for big groups by Master Chef Asia 2015 Finalist, Lica Ibarra. I ordered from them last April 2021 to celebrate my mom’s birthday. We enjoyed their Roast Beef Belly with Gravy (P2,200) and Pork Belly Sisig (P1,600).
3. 128 Catering
There are so many things to love about 128 Catering, which is owned by the same team behind KO Patissier, a dessert supplier I always order from. When my brother got married last May 2021, we booked them to cater the food as well as style my grandmother’s house. They transformed the garage into a beautiful rustic setup and provided delicious food that guests couldn’t stop raving about. Aside from catering and event styling, they offer party trays in Manila for 8 to 10 pax. And their pricing is so reasonable! Their pasta dishes are P1,000 while the chicken, seafood, pork, and beef entrees start at P1,300. We love them so much that we hired them again for my baby girl Cambria’s baptismal celebration. They styled the #FraggyHome and catered as well.
4. Passion Cooks
Passion Cooks is another supplier very close to my heart. They were our florist, event stylist, and grazing table supplier during our wedding! They also offer party trays in Manila for 2 pax, 6 to 8 pax, and 12 to 15 pax. Passion Cooks has an incredibly extensive menu, too.
5. ILLO’S Party Trays
ILLO’S Party Trays is probably the most popular—with over 700k followers on Instagram. I recently got to try them during the 30th anniversary of One MEGA Group. Our company sent each employee boxes of ILLO’s yummy food that Cayo and I indulged in.
6. SALO Lechon Belly
Last November 2021, my family and I celebrated my dog Booboo’s 11th birthday at home. SALO Lechon Belly sponsored party trays that everyone thoroughly enjoyed! Their lechon belly is definitely a must-try. I don’t normally eat lechon belly but I’d make an exemption for theirs anytime! Even my Cebuana-raised cousin, who has high standards when it comes to lechon, kept saying how delicious it was. Since then, our family has ordered their lechon belly several times.
7. Bizu Party Trays and Food Packs
I remember before the pandemic, whenever I attended weddings and PR events catered by Bizu, I’d be so ecstatic. I love Bizu’s food—especially their Smoked Salmon Caviar! They have so many party trays available on their website. Additionally, if you’re throwing a virtual event and would like to send food boxes to different addresses, Bizu can do that for you.
8. Hannah B’s Beef
Earlier this year, Hannah B’s Beef sent over their famous Angus Beef Belly for me and my family to try. Their beef belly was the melts-in-your-mouth kind—we ended up finishing everything right away! Aside from beef belly, they have a wide array of dishes and sets to choose from. If you’re from the north, they’re a party tray supplier based in Quezon City, so you can check them out.
9. Conti’s Party Trays
One of my go-to options whenever I need to order food for big groups (even before the pandemic) was Conti’s. It’s so convenient to order from their website and I’m impressed with their swift customer service. They have family sizes good for 6 to 8 people, and party sizes good for 12 to 15. Last October 2021, my cousin ordered their Pasta Carbonara and Buttered Vegetables to add to Cayo’s birthday dinner. And I suddenly remembered why I like ordering from Conti’s so much—because their food is delicious!
10. Amber Party Trays
Another staple place to order from for big groups—Amber! Back at my old job and when I still reported to the office, whenever an employee celebrated his or her birthday, the food was usually ordered from Amber. This is because they deliver fast, are reliable, and their food is affordable! You can never go wrong with their Original Pancit Malabon, Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, Chicken Lollipop, and Pichi-pichi.
11. Ray Ray’s
For fresh Japanese delicacies like sushi bake party trays, order from Ray Ray’s on Facebook. The small business is owned by a friend and Ultimate Frisbee teammate, who happens to be a chef. He started Ray Ray’s at the beginning of the pandemic, and since then his Facebook page has garnered over 1,000 followers. My personal favorite is the Salmon Aburi (P850 for a large tray). I’ve ordered from him a few times whenever my family members craved for sushi bake.
12. Sushi Delivery
I remember back at my old job, whenever we wanted to take a break from Amber, we’d order from Sushi Delivery instead. Their sets and promos are always super sulit! Like their Sushi Chapchae Promo, which serves 3 to 5 people, and is only P1,000. It comes with a sushi platter, chapchae, and mango nata sago.
13. Uncle Moe’s
When it comes to beef and chicken kebabs, my favorite place to order from is Uncle Moe’s. During Booboo’s 10th birthday, I ordered Uncle Moe’s beef and chicken kebab trays for my family. Each tray is good for 3 to 4 people and starts at P460.
14. Food Channel
If Uncle Moe’s is my go-to for beef and chicken kebabs, Food Channel is my default place for shawarma rice. They have bake trays available in small, medium, large, and extra-large sizes. I ordered from them via Instagram when I was craving shawarma early in my pregnancy.
15. Tina Chan
I discovered Tina Chan’s food through my parents-in-law, who would sometimes order from her through our village selling group on Facebook! I’m not sure if she has a website or Facebook page but you can order by texting her at 0917 534 6080. My favorite is her Charred Roast Beef with Creamy Mashed potatoes and Side Veggies (P2,800 for a family tray).
16. 8 Spoons Party Trays
I posted an Instagram story recently asking my followers to recommend party tray suppliers I could order from. A lot of them replied 8 Spoons Party Trays. They’re based in Quezon City and I’ve tried ordering from them thrice already. Once during my mom, dad, and brother’s joint birthday celebration and another time during my high school barkada reunion. The third was to celebrate Cambria’s halfy birthday. I’m so happy that both my family and friends enjoyed the food. Their prices are affordable as well! The ordering process was easy. I just messaged one of the numbers on Viber and an agent replied right away.
17. Verleo Catering Services
To celebrate Booboo’s 12th birthday, I discovered yet another party tray supplier in Manila. Verleo Catering Services has highly satisfying meals and food trays at affordable prices that allow you to celebrate comfortably at home. I tried their Chapchae, Korean Beef Stew, and Grilled Chicken Teriyaki. The serving sizes are generous and we had so many leftovers that we ate them again for our next meal!
18. The Good Food
Last March 2024, I celebrated by 35th birthday. Since it was a milestone occasion, I celebrated with my family and closest friends for lunch at Buttery and Co., then treated another set of friends to dinner at home. I ordered party trays from The Good Food MNL, which happens to be located along West Avenue — a few blocks away from our village. I highly recommend the Kangkong Artichoke Dip, Baked Kani Sushi, Lasagna, Lengua in Mushroom Sauce, and Chicken Parmigiana!
Party Trays in Manila
With so many party tray options in Metro Manila, it can be overwhelming to choose which one to go with. These are the ones I’ve tried so far, and that I highly recommend. Hopefully, my list helps you narrow down where to order from!
