Recently, I attended the virtual media launch of Anessa’s Mild Series. It was a fun afternoon with fellow beauty editors and bloggers as we learned more about their two newest products. Anessa even treated us to delicious snacks from Kumori!
Ever since they launched here in the Philippines last year, I’ve been a huge fan of their Perfect UV Skincare Milk (P749). In fact, I’ve finished two big bottles already! Formulated with Aqua Booster EX Technology and Thermo Booster Technology, the product’s secret is its UV protect veil.
Basically, it uses reverse thinking and turns sweat, water, and heat into stronger protection for the skin.Anessa’s Mild Series
Skin sensitivity is one of the most common skin concerns that Filipinos face. Those with sensitive skin have a certain tolerance for specific ingredients. They’re more prone to extreme damage and rapid photoaging, too. Anessa recognized this concern and created their Mild Series, a gentle sunscreen line. The products contain Anessa’s signature double defense technology, making their sunscreens stronger with intense water resistance. It can even withstand 80 minutes of pool time! The Mild Series has 50% skincare ingredients to keep skin smooth and moisturized. There are two variants: Mild Milk and UV Mild Gel. Both are water-based, allergy-tested, dermatologically tested, and non-comedogenic. They’re also free of alcohol, fragrance, parabens, preservatives, and colorants.
Anessa Mild Milk – P1,990
Mild Milk, which I’ve been using for a couple of weeks now, has a light and milky texture, and SPF 50 and PA++++. It provides a matte finish and has a unique Smooth Protect Technology, making it perfect for my oily skin!
Anessa UV Mild Gel – P1,490
Meanwhile, the UV Mild Gel is a watery sunscreen gel with SPF 35 and PA+++. While the Mild Milk is recommended for those with oily skin, the UV Mild Gel is ideal for extra sensitive and dry skin. With the new Core Corona Emulsification Technology, the UV Mild Gel can moisturize as soon as it’s applied. It offers a dewy finish as well.
Sunscreen for Sensitive Skin
What I like about both products is that they don’t leave a white cast. You can wear them under makeup and they can even serve as a primer! Plus you can easily remove them with just soap or a cleanser. If you’re wondering if the products are safe for kids, Anessa boasts that they are! I’m currently pregnant and have been using their Mild Milk for two weeks now. Prior to that, I was using the Perfect UV Skincare Milk. I can honestly vouch for the brand and highly recommend them to others. Anessa is available on Lazada and selected Watsons branches.
