Ever since I found out I was pregnant, I told myself that I wouldn’t invest in a maternity bra and maternity dresses for as long as possible. I didn’t see the need for them since I’m just home 24/7 anyway. Besides, it’s been nearly eight months and I’m surviving on all the #DressesByMyLola—dresses that my grandmother made during the lockdown!
But what I did notice, especially when I entered my third trimester, is the discomfort of my normal bras. So I thought that maybe it was about time I got a maternity bra.If you’re looking for where to buy a comfortable maternity bra online, below are three brands I’ve tried and tested. Just a quick disclaimer that this article contains affiliate links and I may earn a commission from them to help me maintain my blog.
Where to Buy a Maternity Bra Online
I ordered a couple from ZALORA and one from Shopee that my best friend highly recommended. These bras were able to accommodate the growth of my breasts from my pregnancy, and for sure they’ll be incredibly useful when I start breastfeeding!
Yabyab 2-pack Claire Seamless Nursing Bra
Yabyab sells a pack of two on ZALORA. Their Claire Seamless Maternity Nursing Bra has full drop-down cups for easy breastfeeding access. The fabric is super soft and it comes in different colors: nude, black, gray, and light purple.
Bench Non-Wired Maternity Bra
When I ordered Yabyab’s bras, I decided to also order one from Bench just so I could compare. Bench’s Non-Wired Maternity Bra is equally comfortable but gives me more support as compared to Yabyab’s. This is why I like wearing it on the rare occasions that I leave the house—like visiting my OB for appointments.
Non-Wire Breastfeeding Bra
Shopee has tons of unbranded ones but this particular one had the most reviews. I bought a couple to try as well. It’s very similar to Yabyab’s actually! So if you’re on a budget, I highly recommend getting from Shopee instead. Aside from the comfort and affordable price, there are so many colors available—black, pink, nude, grey, blue, and even purple.
Maternity Underwear
If you’re looking for maternity underwear, I bought a couple from the same seller on Shopee. They had seamless undies for pregnant women for only P65 each. They’re quite comfortable, too. However, I only like wearing them with my maternity leggings (P168).
So there you have it! Those are the maternity bras I’ve tried and tested so far. Should I need more, I don’t mind buying the same ones in different colors. If you have any questions about them, feel free to comment below.
