I mentioned in my last article about Aloe Derma that I discovered them through my mom, who bought their shampoo and conditioner for herself and their Hair Tonic for me once when she was shopping in Watsons. Since my mom and I both suffer from fine hair, we really take preventive measures to make sure our hair stays healthy until we get old.
She got so intrigued by Aloe Derma’s Aloe Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner, so she tried it for herself and hasn’t used any other shampoo and conditioner ever since.I was introduced further to the brand when I found out we actually carry it in the Glamourbox online boutique, and it’s such a small world that my block mate from college handles the marketing! I was able to try a few other products, but one thing I keep buying again and again is their Hair Tonic. I’m already on my third bottle since I started using it a few months ago. Every night before going to bed, I pour a little on my head and massage it gently on to my scalp.
The first couple of months I started doing this, I noticed that my hair fall lessened. My hair appeared to be more luminous as well, despite the stress of work. The moment I knew it was really working was when I got a hair cut yesterday, and the stylist told me I had a lot of baby hair growing. Normally, baby hair could also be a sign of breakage or damage, but if they’re growing evenly, it usually means this is new hair. Since my hair is really short and I don’t tie it nor do I use hair irons and blow-dryers, it also helps with the growth of my baby hair.
The effects of the Hair Tonic (Php 215) convinced me to also buy their Aloe Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner (Php 280 each). I can’t wait to start using them, so that my hair will maintain its health and hopefully get thicker through time. I think it’ll also complement my growing hair, because I’m trying to grow it until it reaches my shoulders again!
If you haven’t heard of or tried Aloe Derma yet, I honestly recommend it. I’ve invested a lot in skincare, but I realized with Aloe Derma that I also need to start investing in hair care. I’m in my mid-20’s, so hopefully it’s not too late!
