Sometimes, it’s so hard to believe that our baby girl Cambria is now 6 months old. Time flew by way too fast! It seems just like yesterday that I gave birth to her at The Medical City Ortigas. She used to be so light and tiny that I could easily carry her with one arm. Nowadays, she weighs 17 pounds and none of my family members can last carrying her for a long time.
Meanwhile, my arms have become numb. Haha! In fact, I’m actually back to my pre-pregnancy weight and I didn’t even have to try. Carrying Cambria all the time and exclusively breastfeeding her made me lose weight naturally. Anyway, to celebrate her half-month birthday, I decided to have a photo shoot at home. As usual, we hired the same photographer who did my cozy and relaxed maternity shoot in our #FraggyHome: ZM Photography. She’s also the same photographer we hired during Cambria’s baptism! I always enjoy working with her. I simply bring out the magazine girl in me by creating a deck with the help of Pinterest. And Zyna nails it every time.
For Cambria’s 6-month shoot, I took inspiration from my fur babies, Booboo and Bellatrix, and dressed her in faux fur.
For props, I ordered Baby’s Breath flowers from my suki Dangwa supplier—Mr. Eduardo Parale. I had a custom cake made as well by Moe & Bels. Their signature Heritage Chocolate Cake is a must-try!
Aside from solo portraits, we made sure to have complete family photos taken, too. I can’t wait to put these in frames and display around our house.
