Kung Fu Panda 4 Shows Change is Constant and Inevitable

Hi, everyone! Welcome to another article on Greta’s Junkyard, a blog that serves as a dump of my favorite things. My name is Gretchen Gatan Fragada and I’m a writer and editor based in Metro Manila. I’m also the founder and editor-in-chief of The Metro Edit, your curated source of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle.

On top of this, I’m a wife to Cayo, a fur mom to Booboo and Bellatrix, and a first-time mom to a toddler daughter named Cambria. Last weekend, Cayo, Cambria, and I watched the exclusive screening of Kung Fu Panda 4 in SM Megamall. It was Cambria’s second time to watch a film inside a movie house. And she definitely had a lot of fun! It was her first time to eat popcorn and she even won a prize from the raffle.

About Kung Fu Panda 4

In Kung Fu Panda 4, Po must train a new warrior because he needs to move on to his next duty: becoming the spiritual leader of the Valley of Peace. However, a powerful shape-shifting sorceress sets her eyes on his Staff of Wisdom. Thus, Po suddenly realizes he’s going to need some help. So he teams up with a talented and quick-witted corsac fox — Cambria’s favorite character in the movie. Po then discovers that heroes can be found in the most unexpected places.

My little family and I enjoyed the film as it chooses no age when it comes to the lessons you’ll learn. Like Po, who couldn’t let go of being a Dragon Warrior just yet, I fear change even though it’s constant and inevitable. But when you do learn to accept it, you’ll find that maybe it’s not so bad after all.

A Star-Studded Cast As Usual

Like the previous Kung Fu Panda films, this one is also a star-studded cast. Aside from Jack Black as Po and Dustin Hoffman as Master Shifu, Awkwafina and Viola Davis join them as the corsac fox and shape-shifting sorceress respectively.

You can catch Kung Fu Panda 4 in cinemas starting March 6. I highly encourage bringing the whole family!
