Where to Buy a Bean Bag Couch in Manila: Mr. Bean Bag

Have you guys ever wondered why the Lifestyle and Travel category of my blog is called “Life Outside the Attic?” To explain it briefly, I live in a house where the attic was turned into an extra room and that’s where I stay! It’s where I sleep, write most of my articles, and hang out—thus the label.

This past Christmas, my little nook got an upgrade when I received an LG TV as one of my gifts! This opened up an opportunity to transform the attic into a full-fledged entertainment area, where I got to install the Cupcake’s old PS3 and a Chromecast, which is perfect for whenever I want to play FIFA or watch Netflix/iFlix.

I even got myself a cute coffee table where my laptop usually stays. But as the Christmas break passed, I felt like something was missing—and I realized I needed a comfortable couch to complete my little nook.

I searched online and discovered Mr. Bean Bag, an online furniture service that provides custom bean bags in all shapes, colors, and sizes! You can choose the type of material, color, and size depending on your preference.

I got a two-seater senior size couch which weighs about 6 kilos. With the help of a friend who studied Interior Design, the best material for the attic was waterproof nylon. I chose a color that best complemented my favorite purple bed sheets, and with a three-week lead time, I got my bean bag couch!

It’s durable, extra comfy, and it definitely completes my space in the attic. I paid Php 2,850 for the couch, and Php 600 for the delivery fee (since Mr. Bean Bag is located all the way in Paranaque).
