Hi, everyone! Welcome to Greta’s Junkyard. This is a lifestyle blog I started in 2013 where I can dump articles on beauty, travel, and more. My name is Gretchen Gatan Fragada and I’m a writer and editor based in Metro Manila, Philippines. I’m also a wife to Cayo, a fur mom to a dog named Booboo and a cat named Bellatrix, and a first-time mom to a toddler daughter named Cambria!
Recently, we traveled to Hong Kong to visit Disneyland and Ocean Park. And if you’re looking for a toddler-friendly hotel in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, I highly recommend Park Hotel Hong Kong. Meanwhile, if you want to read our detailed itinerary, I’m working on a different post soon. You can also read about our Singapore trip, which was Cambria’s first trip out of the country! Cayo and I have always loved traveling. We’ve been to many countries together like Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Japan, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia. We truly believe that investing in experiences and exposing Cambria to as many things will help her further grow. This is why as early as five or six months old, we’ve been traveling with her already. And in the process, we get to discover family-friendly hotels like Park Hong Kong!
About Park Hotel Hong Kong
Park Hotel Hong Kong along Catham Road is a 4-star hotel that’s a stone’s throw away from a myriad of local dining establishments, shopping malls, and tourist attractions. Moreover, because it’s in the busiest district of Kowloon, bus stops and MTR stations are just within walking distance. With its generous room sizes, contemporary interior design, and well-equipped amenities, Park Hotel provides a comfortable retreat for both traveling and business needs!
Kiddie Amenities
We booked a 4D3N stay and were fortunate enough that our room got upgraded to a Premier King, which was extra cozy and spacious for a family of three. Aside from the usual amenities such as toiletries, towels, fluffy robes, and slippers, the room came with a Nespresso machine! But the kiddie amenities were the best part, in my opinion. As soon as Park Hotel found out we were traveling with a toddler, they asked if we needed anything. So we availed the toilet seat, bathtub, and stool! It made our stay so much more memorable.
Ideal Location
Again, Park Hotel is conveniently located near popular restaurants like Red Tea and Kings’ Lodge, which our family enjoyed. It was also near the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station, which we rode all the time to get to different places since Hong Kong is pretty stroller-friendly. It’s a 40-minute commute to Disneyland and about 20 minutes to Ocean Park. Lastly, the hotel is a 10-minute walk away from Avenue of Stars. So during our first night, we got to watch the Symphony of Lights!
Because of the comfort, convenience, and service that Park Hotel Hong Kong provided, it felt like it was our home away from home. I can’t wait to go back and book a stay with them again.
