Eye of Horus Launches a Vegan Mascara: Bio Lash Lift Mascara

One of the things I love so much about Eye of Horus Cosmetics, aside from their strong branding that makes it stand out from other beauty brands, is the ingenuity of their formulations.

From the very first product they launched, which was the Goddess Mascara, to their series of Goddess Pencils, the Liquid Series and the Brow Perfection Series, to the Italian-baked Goddess Eye Shadows, you know that you can never go wrong or be disappointed when you purchase an Eye of Horus product.

Known for being paraben-free, cruelty-free, and using only natural oils and waxes, Eye of Horus stepped up their game once again—by launching a 100% vegan mascara, the Bio Lash Lift Mascara, that boasts key ingredients like Laminaria Digitata Extract, a marine algae noted for its hair strengthening and growth promotion properties, Galactoarabinan, a biodegradable, plant-based collagen, Omega 9, Vitamin E, and Castor Seed Oil.

It’s designed to add length, volume and nourishment to the lashes, plus it has a unique double-sided brush that combs through the lashes with ease. I wore it during the event when professional makeup artist, Sylvina Lopez, used it to create a Goddess-inspired makeup look on me, using the Teal Malachite Goddess Pencil and Isis Sun Goddess Eye Shadow Palette as well.

To launch the new Bio Lash Lift Mascara, the Glamourbox team put together one of their biggest events to date in SM Makati Department Store. The activity area was dressed up in black and gold details to highlight the strong branding of Eye of Horus, and a dessert table was even set up to serve guests with Eye of Horus sweets and treats.

Magazine editors, bloggers, influencers, and top makeup artists experienced an Egyptian-inspired makeover by incredibly talented makeup artists, Sylvina Lopez and Katchie Mejias, and once their makeover was done, they were led to the photo area to get their beauty portraits taken by professional photographer, Jory Rivera.

It was definitely an exciting afternoon for both Eye of Horus and Glamourbox, and I can’t wait to see how the Bio Lash Lift Mascara will fare amidst a growing community of vegans and those who are more conscious and particular about the products they use.
