Dangwa Flower Market: Where I Buy Flowers for the Fraggy Home

Hi, everyone! My name is Gretchen Gatan Fragada. I’m a writer and managing editor based in Quezon City. I’m also a wife to Cayo and a first-time mom to our daughter Cambria. Welcome to Greta’s Junkyard! This is basically a dump of my favorite topics. And I often love to write about beauty, home, travel, and lifestyle.

If you follow me on Instagram at @gretchengatan, you’ll know how much I love buying flowers for our forever home, the Fraggy Home. It’s usually for all the tablescapes I prepare whenever we have guests. But it actually all started when Cambria was born. I would buy flowers every month to celebrate her milestones. Because of the pandemic’s restrictions, I discovered an online Dangwa Flower Market. And from there, I found a suki who I would order from all the time.

My Suki at the Dangwa Flower Market

His name is Mr. Eduardo Parale and I just message him on Facebook Messenger to ask what flowers are available. He then sends me photos and a price list of his flowers. I usually order carnations since those are my favorite, and he sells them at P600 for a bundle of 20 stems.

Depending on the season, his roses and sunflowers can be very affordable, too. It’s a lot better to order directly from Dangwa Flower Market suppliers like him. You get to save on costs while supporting their local business!

After I place my order, I just send him my payment via GCash. Then he lets me know when the flowers are ready so I can book a Grab to deliver to our house.

Can he arrange flowers as well?

He can definitely arrange flowers depending on your peg! My mom recently ordered a beautiful bouquet from him to give to my sister who passed the Licensure Examination for Architects.

My brother also ordered a sunflower bouquet from him to give to my mom on Mother’s Day last year.

He responds very fast on Facebook Messenger and always tries to accommodate all of my requests. So if you’re ever looking for a suki at the Dangwa Flower Market, I hope you can message Mr. Eduardo Parale on Facebook! Plus, let him know you got his details from me. He’ll be more than happy to assist you.

If you liked this article, I hope you can follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube at @gretchengatan to stay updated on new posts.
