The Cupcake and I are moving out of our very first home real soon. Because our move out date falls on the same month as Christmas, we decided to give the staff in our condominium a special but practical gift. We did the same last year when we moved in. I prepared basic medicine packs that included headache, tummy ache, flu, and other useful medicines.
On top of this, we donated cash and raffle prizes for their annual Christmas party. Over the last 16 months that we’ve been living in our safe and wonderful space, I’m most grateful for the guards, admin, maintenance, and housekeeping staff who have been so good to us. They took care of us, helped us, and even loved our dog, Booboo, just as much as we did. If you’re looking for practical gift ideas for your condo staff to show your appreciation, maybe you can find inspiration from ours! This year’s gift included the following (taking into consideration the ongoing pandemic):
KN95
We provided each one with a KN95 mask that we ordered from the official store of Indoplas. They’re individually packed, sterilized with EO gas, and medical grade standard. I’ve tried the mask myself when the Cupcake and I went out to run an important errand, and it was comfortable to wear for hours.
Isopropyl Alcohol
We added isopropyl alcohol to each gift pack since we need to sanitize our hands as often as possible. I got my favorite brand from Lazada, Hygienix, since I like the smell of this compared to other alcohol brands.
Antibacterial Soap
Another item that I felt was practical to include was antibacterial soap from Lifebuoy. I read that the brand has a long-standing history of helping during a pandemic. It grew to become one of the world’s best-selling hygiene soap brands and is trusted by families everywhere.
Sheet Masks
To promote my love for skincare, I added sheet masks from a variety of brands to encourage them to treat their skin!
It was so convenient for us to put together a practical gift thanks to Lazada and Shopee. I ordered everything a week before we started preparing each gift. We placed them inside brown paper bags, placed my signature lilac ribbon, and attached a special note. Aside from this, we plan to donate cash for their annual Christmas party again!
If you’re looking for other practical gift ideas, you can consider some suggestions given by people when I asked a sticker question on Instagram: Sodexo gift cards, reusable canvas bags with groceries, or mini Ready Aid Kits filled with basic medicines!
