Hey there! Welcome to another article on Greta’s Junkyard, a blog I started in September 2013 that serves as a dump of my favorite things. These often include topics about fashion, beauty, travel, and lifestyle. Occasionally, I write about my experiences as a first-time mom as well. If you’re new to the platform, my name is Gretchen Gatan Fragada and I’m a writer and editor based in Metro Manila, Philippines.
I’m also the founder and editor-in-chief of The Metro Edit, your curated source of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. On top of this, I’m a fur mom to Booboo and Bellatrix and a wife to Cayo. Together, we have a toddler daughter named Cambria. If you’re looking for backdrop suppliers, you’ve come to the right place because I’ve decided to list some of my trusted ones.Backdrop Suppliers to Make Your Party Memorable
As someone who works in an industry that requires me to attend many events (I’ve also had my fair share of putting together events), these suppliers are my go-to. Aside from the quality of their work, they’re reasonably priced and are very reliable.
Island Creatives for a Tasteful Backdrop
First on my list is Island Creatives, who styled Cambria’s first birthday. I was extremely happy with their work because they elevated Cambria’s birthday theme to a whole new level. Island Creatives went above and beyond — transforming our village clubhouse into a tropical paradise! Every single detail truly captured the tropical theme I envisioned.
Flourish and Frills is a Favorite Among Celebrities
Up next is Flourish and Frills, a stylist I’ve worked with during my previous stint as the managing editor of a premium parenting magazine. We hired them a couple of times and they did not disappoint. Just take a look at the backdrop they put together for one of the events! Also, you can order DIY backdrops online through their website. There are a lot of party vignettes to choose from.
Flower Mom for a Floral Backdrop
Flower Mom was another supplier I got to work with from my previous job. They did a beautiful floral backdrop for one of our events and again, I highly recommend them. They respond fast on Facebook, too.
Sweet Treats by Rory for a DIY Backdrop
If you’re looking to do a custom DIY backdrop, then Sweet Treats by Rory is a great place to order from. They put together a simple one for my grandmother’s 80th birthday following the instructions I gave, then I just booked a LalaMove van to deliver it straight to the venue. Everything from the colors of the panels to the font to be used was my decision and they just executed it. However, they’re based in Taguig so if your venue is in Quezon City like my grandmother’s party, prepare to pay a higher delivery fee.
The Balloonist for Balloon-Heavy Vignettes
A friend of mine owns The Balloonist and if you want a backdrop heavy with balloons, then they’re the right supplier to order from.
128 Catering for an All-in-One Supplier
Second to last is 128 Catering, who we frequently hire to cater our events — including Cambria’s baptism and first birthday. For her baptism, in particular, we had an intimate reception in our home. Aside from catering, 128 styled our house and put together a simple backdrop following the baby pink and floral theme.
Party Nest for a Minimalist Backdrop
Last but not least is Party Nest, who I encountered on Instagram. They did the backdrop of a friend’s son’s first birthday and I love the minimalist and sophisticated designs they do.
Tried and Tested Backdrop Suppliers
So that’s my list of backdrop suppliers that I can vouch for. If you have any questions, feel free to comment or follow me on Instagram at @gretchengatan and send me a message! I hope you enjoyed reading this article. Until my next one! Thank you for visiting Greta’s Junkyard.
