So I’m probably ruining the surprise factor of my Christmas gift to everyone—but I got low EQ, and I really wanted to talk about how awesome these custom pouches turned out. Just to give you a bit of a backstory on how I discovered Myriad Print Concepts, it was actually through a colleague who showed me their Instagram account a few months ago when I was looking for a supplier to print custom pouches for one of Glamourbox‘s exclusively-distributed brands, POP Beauty.
I was so impressed with the quality of their pouches and their printing, that I immediately thought to myself—wow, this could make such a cute Christmas gift for everyone this year! And so I began the tedious task of designing a pouch for every single person I wanted to give a Christmas gift to. I wanted to make it as personal as possible, by adding elements that further highlighted their personality. It took me two weeks, but I honestly enjoyed the process because even though the gift is simple, it was also very heartfelt and I hope my family and friends see that in each design.
Another reason I really wanted to order my Christmas gifts from them instead of buying something from big and/or international brands is because I wanted to support a local business. Based on experience (because I help my mom run Mama Jessie’s Kesong Puti), I do understand the challenges and demands of being an SME—so it was something that I really wanted to do this year, and that I intend to do every year. I urge you to support and buy from small, local brands as well!
Anyway, aside from pouches, Myriad also does different kinds of bags and pillow cases. They have set designs, which are as equally cute—my favorite is their series of originally-designed Avengers bags! They can even print pictures on the bags, pouches and pillow cases (I want to have Booboo’s face printed on a pillow case and bag soon.)
