It’s been a while since I did a makeup look and filmed it! Work and settling into our forever home have kept me so busy these last few months. I haven’t been able to do a full-faced look at all. At most, I just do my eyebrows and add cheek tint whenever I have online meetings. Apart from being rusty and struggling with the eyelash curler, you can clearly see in the video that I have a wound on my lip.
I also accidentally poked my eye towards the end, which explains the slight redness. Hahaha! Despite the bloopers, I had so much fun doing this makeup look using Revlon Philippines and their WW84 Collection. I even used colors I don’t normally wear—like teal on my eyes! To see how I was able to do this look, you can watch the video below.Products I Used
It’s my first time using mostly Revlon Philippines products in my makeup look. And to be honest, I was very impressed by their foundation. I now have an alternative whenever I need a lightweight base that provides enough coverage. If you’re interested to buy any of the products I used, I’ve linked them to their official product page on Lazada or Shopee. Some products may feature an affiliate link where I get commissioned to help me maintain my blog.
Revlon Colorstay Foundation for Combination/Oily Skin in Medium Beige
Again, this became an instant favorite. From the moment I applied it and started blending it out, I knew it was a foundation I would use again and again. It reminded me of Maybelline’s Fit Me Matte & Poreless Foundation, which is my go-to drugstore foundation if I want to save my Estee Lauder Double Wear. A little goes a long way with Revlon’s Colorstay Foundation. And despite the summer heat, it didn’t budge and was able to keep my skin shine-free!
Setting Powder and Brows
For my setting powder and eyebrows, since I didn’t have anything from Revlon Philippines, I used RCMA’s No-Color Powder and Glossier’s Boy Brow instead.
Revlon x WW84 The Wonder Woman Face Eye Palette
I used three colors from the eyeshadow palette to create my makeup look: Courage (a gold shimmer), Perseverance (a metallic bronze), and Self-Control (a bright teal). It was easy to work with the colors and blend them. The color payoff was quite nice, too.
Revlon x WW84 Liquid Armor Glow Pot
I found this highlighter a little bit challenging to work with—but mostly because I’m not used to working with liquid highlighters. In all of my looks, I always use a powder one. So it was interesting to try this product. I think I used a bit too much that my hair strands stuck on my cheeks for a while. I love the subtle glow it gives though! Maybe with a bit more practice, I can use this product better.
Revlon So Fierce Mascara
Like I said—it’s been a while since I last applied makeup. I guess I lack practice because I struggled with my Shu Uemura eyelash curler. I wasn’t able to curl my lashes the way I would have wanted. I feel like the mascara lengthened more than added volume, which was okay with me. I like that it felt light and was clump-free, too.
Revlon x WW84 Ultra HD Matte Lip Mousse in Red Hot
To finish off the look, I used Red Hot on my lips. I love that it wasn’t sticky and had a sort of powder-like feel. This particular shade of red complemented my yellow undertone quite well!
The Finished Look Using Revlon Philippines
Not my best look, but I really had so much fun doing this. Hopefully, I’ll have more time to create more makeup looks and film them soon. To view the rest of Revlon Philippines’ products, you can visit their official store on Lazada and Shopee!
