A Review on Cure’s Natural Aqua Gel

Hello! I’m baaaaack. I know it’s been a while since I last reviewed something, and I even received a few concerned messages asking if I was slowly drifting away from the beauty scene because I haven’t been posting about anything makeup or skincare-related lately. That’s not true at all! Your girl is still as kikay as ever—just going through a weird phase in life, and slowly trying to overcome it!

Anyway, since it’s been a while since my last review, I wanted to talk about a product that I got last month that I immediately started incorporating into my skincare routine—Cure’s Natural Aqua Gel. Apparently, it’s Japan’s best-selling exfoliating gel that gently and visibly removes dead skin cells, hence it’s actually dubbed as a “facial in a bottle.

Since then, I’ve been using it twice a week (on Wednesdays and Sundays) after washing my face and right before applying toner. Normally, when I hear the word exfoliate, I think of those scrubs that feel slightly rough on the skin—but I was so curious about Cure’s Natural Aqua Gel because it didn’t look like a scrub at all. It looked and felt more like a facial wash.

But as you apply an ample amount and start massaging your face in gentle, circular motions, you’ll start to feel the dead skin cells gradually build on the tips of your fingers. It’s pretty addicting, to be honest. And when you wash it off, the skin literally feels so smooth and soft. It’s amazing.

For those of you who don’t believe in exfoliating or don’t like exfoliating because of the roughness of some products, I suggest trying Cure’s Natural Aqua Gel. They weren’t kidding when they said it was a facial in a bottle, because it strips off all your dead skin cells, allowing your skin to breathe. And when this barrier is removed, your skin can easily absorb all your other facial products. It’s been a month since I started using it, and I’m genuinely happy with the results.

You can check out their Facebook page here for more information. Cure’s Natural Aqua Gel is available for Php 1,500 at Beauty Bar, Rustan’s, and selected SM, Robinson’s, and Metro Stores.
