How to Organize Medicines at Home: The Perfect Storage for Medicines!

Organizing medicines wasn’t really something I gave a lot of thought to—up until I got married last September and began running my own household. Prior to that, it was expectedly filed under my “Mom’s Things to Do,” and I always knew where she kept the medicines for just about any problem my siblings and I would encounter: headache, cold, fever, dysmenorrhea, diarrhea, allergies, hyperacidity, etc.

My mom is the most organized person I know, which probably explains my obsession with being organized as well. While she had a small storage container with dividers for her medicines, I placed mine inside a recycled pink Glossier pouch that I conveniently got from Calyxta after I once splurged on a bunch of Glossier products.

But the problem with my pink Glossier pouch is its user-friendliness. With all my medicines put together in just one bag, sometimes it takes a while to find the ones I really need. I’d have to rummage through the whole thing, or sometimes, even pour out all the contents, and then pack away everything again. It’s time-consuming, and not exactly the most optimal way of organizing essentials in our household.

That is until I was introduced to Ready Aid Kit, which offers carefully curated kits for basic needs! They have kits for medicines, first aid, desktops, women’s health, and even RX medicines. The Cupcake and I got two: the Medicine RAK and the Women’s Health RAK.

Thanks to the sleek and minimalist design, which can be stacked on top of each other to save on even more space, it perfectly complemented our white dining table in the condo, where I usually also keep my vitamins, disinfectants, and asthma medicine. I had a lot of fun re-organizing my medicines as well, and the labels make it so much easier to find the medicine I need. I’d sometimes even use the kits as an additional stand whenever I shoot videos for the blog. Talk about multi-purpose!

Check out the other kits they have available when you follow them on Instagram! They can curate or customize kits for your needs, too. For inquiries or more information, just send them a message at readyaidkits@gmail.com or text 09178919584.
