Hi, everyone! Welcome to Greta’s Junkyard. If you’re new here, my name is Gretchen Gatan Fragada. I’m a writer and editor based in Quezon City. Greta’s Junkyard is a lifestyle blog I started in 2013 where I can dump articles on my favorite topics. These include beauty, travel, home, and more. Aside from being a writer and editor, I’m also a wife to Cayo, a fur mom to a dog named Booboo and a cat named Bellatrix, and a first-time mom to a toddler daughter named Cambria.
Together, we are the #FraggyFam! Recently, we were invited to the 6th anniversary celebration of Seda Vertis North. It was truly an honor because Seda has a very special place in our hearts. Our Wedding Reception at Seda Vertis North
When Cayo and I tied the knot in September 2019, Seda Vertis North was the perfect and most convenient venue for our wedding reception after having our ceremony in our village church, Sta. Rita de Cascia Parish. Their 6th anniversary celebration took place in the exact same ballroom as our reception: Quezon Ballroom 1 and 2! So it felt like we were reliving our wedding night when we attended the fun affair.
Our Mini-Moon at Seda Lio
While our reception was at Vertis North, we had our mini-moon in Seda Lio! It was such a memorable stay because the place is so quiet and peaceful. Cayo even surprised me by booking a romantic dinner date by the beach.
I actually would like to go back there very soon with Cambria. I’m sure she’ll enjoy swimming in their gigantic pool.
Because we’re such loyal customers of Seda, we decided to become Seda Edge members, too. This way, we can accumulate points and redeem them for room upgrades and other benefits.
A Lovely Evening at Seda Vertis North’s 6th Anniversary Celebration
As mentioned, we were invited to the special anniversary celebration of Seda Vertis North. Cayo, Cambria, and I enjoyed the food, music, and company so much! It was a sit-down dinner and as expected, each dish was a delight. The highlights for me were the pan-fried scallops topped with black caviar garnish, the pan-fried black angus fillet mignon, and the dark chocolate lava cake.
Aside from the food, it was a pleasure meeting and getting to know some of the hotel’s top executives. General managers from other Seda branches were also present! They even raffled off staycations to the guests in attendance. And I’m so that I won an overnight stay at Seda Centrio in Cagayan de Oro! We’ll definitely book a trip there soon. Perhaps next year for my birthday!
So that was just a quick recap on the anniversary celebration of Seda Vertis North. To book a room, visit their website at vertisnorth.sedahotels.com. I hope you can also follow me on Facebook and Instagram at @gretchengatan to stay updated on new posts. Until next time!
