If I had all the money in the world, I would buy every piece of clothing in every color from Uniqlo. I’ve fallen in love with the brand so hard that if you open my closet, their clothes have slowly taken over.
Uniqlo’s philosophy of simplicity, quality and longevity has always been something I admired and believed in—so naturally, when I received an invite to attend the launch of their Fall Winter 2017 collection at One Canvas Events Place, declining just wasn’t an option.
Like the launch of their 2017 Spring Summer Collection, the setup was very spacious and minimalist, with each corner highlighting a specific part of the collection. The center was transformed into a runway, where guests experienced a 360-degree fashion show that showcased their newest collaboration with British fashion label, JW Anderson. It’s basically a stylish British-heritage-meets-LifeWear and includes both women and menswear.
The Uniqlo Fall Winter 2017 Collection also includes the eighth edition of their collaboration with French fashion icon, Inès de la Fressange, who finally launched her first menswear line!
As usual, everything appealed to my minimalist sense of style. The event was made even more exciting when Miss Universe 2015 and Uniqlo Brand Ambassador, Pia Wurtzbach, graced the runway with her presence and surprised us all.
For those who are wondering, the whole collection will be coming out this October 2017. For more details, you can follow Uniqlo on Instagram @uniqlophofficial.
