The beauty of having and living with skinny little cousins is that at any point of the weekend, I can just grab them, set up my camera, and make them wear whatever I need to make them wear—especially on occasions where bodily or facial insecurities prevent me from having my own photo shoot. But my lack of confidence aside, it was another fun-filled Sunday evening just taking photos of my youngest cousin in these really adorable Always Modish skirts.
Always Modish by Armie Marfil is a start-up garment company that focuses on making unique skirts. The company pins on the saying, “Women who wear skirts are the sexiest.” Her skirts are not just ordinary skirts—each one is classic, collectible, and appeals to all women. Their technology is capable of printing designs on fabric, and Armie shares that the opportunity to create designs is endless! Always Modish is Proudly Filipino as well.
I’m a huge, huge fan of skirts—and this is evident in my wardrobe collection where half of my closet is comprised of a variety of skirts (the other half is composed of different dresses). I have pencil skirts, A-line skirts, mini skirts, denim skirts, chiffon skirts, printed skirts, skirts made by my grandmother, and so on. In fact, every morning when the Cupcake picks me up to go to work, he always anticipates what skirt or dress I’d be wearing for the day.
