Glossier Cloud Paint: Swatches of The Shades I Own

I’ve been a huge fan of Glossier ever since the brand was introduced to me in 2017. I just love how easy it is to use their products—especially their Boy Brow and Cloud Paint. As much as I love makeup, most days I prefer merely brushing up my brows and applying a little cheek tint. Doing so helps me look more put together!

It’s also perfect if you’re lazy (which I sometimes am) or not too familiar with applying makeup. Because of my love for the brand, I decided to order one of the newest Glossier Cloud Paint shades: Spark! Check out the swatches together with Haze, Beam, Storm, and Dawn.

What is Glossier Cloud Paint?

According to their website, the Glossier Cloud Paint is a seamless, buildable, gel-cream blush that’s enjoyable to apply and easy to wear. I can truly attest to this! Back when the Cupcake used to drive us to work in Makati, I’d often apply my shade of the day in the car. Despite bumpy roads and brakes, and even sometimes without a mirror, I’d manage to apply the cream blush easily and evenly.

My collection first started with Haze. And then I bought Beam. When my siblings went to the US one time, I asked them to buy me Storm and Dawn. Just recently, my best friend had a balikbayan box sent to the Philippines so I asked if I could order Spark as a pasabuy.

Swatches and Makeup Looks

Here are swatches of all the shades I own. From top to bottom: Beam, Dawn, Spark, Storm, and Haze. Out of all the colors, Beam is my most used one. It gives me a naturally sun-kissed look and complements my skin tone really well.

Cloud Paint in Haze

Haze is a deep fuschia that I love wearing whenever I do pink makeup looks. Since it was the first shade I owned, I would use it almost every day. A little goes a long way with every tube of Glossier’s Cloud Paint. For a daytime look, I would dab just a tiny dot on each cheek before blending. For evening looks, it’s easy to add more color and build it up.

Cloud Paint in Beam

As mentioned, Beam is my go-to during the day. And here’s why! I just love how the soft peach makes it seem like I’m not wearing any makeup.

Cloud Paint in Storm

Storm is a warm rose that gives me a flushed look—like I’m blushing all day! I usually use this more at night or whenever I want to pair dark brows with super rosy cheeks.

Cloud Paint in Dawn

To be honest, Dawn initially intimated me. I thought it would be too orange. In fact, it made my fingers look like I just ate cheese popcorn! But on my cheeks? I just love the sunny coral hue. And since I recently became obsessed with peachy and orangey looks, Dawn was always the perfect cream blush to complement them.

Cloud Paint in Spark

Spark was a bright poppy color that surprised me. When I first applied it, I got scared because I thought I had put too much. But as with any Glossier Cloud Paint, it was easy to blend it out. I applied the excess on my lids as seen in the picture.

Best Cream Blush I’ve Tried

Out of all the cream blushes I’ve tried, Glossier’s is my favorite. Not only is it easy to work with, but it’s also long-lasting. I remember playing Ultimate Frisbee a few times while wearing it, and it would stay despite me sweating. I tried running water on my arm where the swatches were, and look how the hues barely faded!

Where to Buy Glossier in the Philippines?

You can buy Glossier online through BeautyMnl. I heard that they’re also available in SM Aura!
