Where Do You Buy Your Makeup?

I think my obsession for makeup doubled when I started taking up fashion makeup classes in Fashion Institute of the Philippines. There are just so many amazing makeup brands out there that don’t necessarily drain your wallet—you just have to know where to find them!

Because of this, I wanted to write a quick post on where I buy my makeup (especially the ones I use for class).

1. Glamourbox

First on my list, of course, is the company I work for—Glamourbox! We have kiosks in both Landmark Trinoma and Makati. What I particularly get here is Pixi’s Glow Mist and Ofra’s Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick and Signature Contouring and Highlighting Cream Palette. I always use the Glow Mist to prep my model’s skin and keep it moisturized. For obvious reasons, I love using Ofra’s Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick because of the matte finish and the lasting power. I sometimes use the Signature Contouring and Highlighting Cream Palette whenever I need to do a little contouring, or if I don’t want to use liquid foundation because it’s actually a great alternative.

2. Digital Traincase

I super love DTC because they carry makeup brands that’s hard to find and that the pros really use. I recently visited their store in Corinthian Executive Regency (along Ortigas Avenue near Robinson’s Galleria) and bought this beautiful RCMA 5-shade cream foundation palette that’s incredibly pigmented and gives a flawless coverage.

3. Zalora

One of the most interesting makeup products that Zalora carries is GlamBox’s Airbrush Cosmetics.  I really want to learn how to do airbrush, but I know that’s advanced makeup already, so maybe I can learn it some other time. They also carry Carmex Lip Balm, which I use on my models to prep their lips before applying lipstick. You can easily stay pampered, fresh, and utterly gorgeous with make up that’s available in Zalora.

4. Reeco

I love how because of Reeco, I discovered where I can buy BH Cosmetics in the country. This is another brand that’s hard to find because it’s not available here yet. I use their Contour and Blush Palette if I want to do just a little bit of contouring.

So those are just a few places I go to whenever I’m looking for a niche brand. What about you guys? Where do you buy your makeup? Do share them in the comments, so I can also check them out!
