JUMIMO Necklaces by Victoria Macatulad

A surprise came in the mail for me last week, as I received these really unique necklaces from JUMIMO.

Founded by Victoria Macatulad, JUMIMO’s necklaces are designed and handmade by the owner herself. What makes her necklaces one-of-a-kind is that it isn’t just a fashionable piece of accessory you can wear to complement your outfit—they also serve as an eyeglass holder!

Named after her children, JU for Juno, MI for Mieke, and MO for Monica, JUMIMO is one of many partners of Karl Edward International, one of the pioneer bazaar organizers in Metro Manila. Part of Karl Edward’s mission is to support and help out local small and medium enterprises like JUMIMO.

Honestly, when I received the necklaces, I found them really cute and endearing—especially after reading the story behind them. I’m not a big jewelry person—I usually just wear earrings, a watch and my ring, but occasionally I do wear plain necklaces and I like how JUMIMO’s designs are simple and straightforward. They go really well with my purple eyeglasses, too!

JUMIMO will be part of Karl Edward International’s Great Deals at the Tent event in Acacia Estates, Taguig, along with many other concessionaires from February 28 to March 1, 2015. For more information, visit their website at www.karledward.com or their Facebook page at http://facebook.com/karledwardinternationalbazaar.
