Hi, everyone! My name is Gretchen Gatan Fragada. I’m a writer and managing editor based in Quezon City, Philippines. I’m also a first-time mom to a one-year-old daughter named Cambria. If you’re new here, welcome to Greta’s Junkyard! This is a creative outlet I started in 2013 to document the many milestones in my life.
It’s also where I like to write about my favorite things. So it’s basically a dump of beauty and lifestyle topics. If you want to read more about Fun City Vertis North, then you’ve come to the right place. My little family and I recently visited during the long break and had so much fun. What is Fun City Vertis North?
Fun City is an indoor play place located on the third floor of Ayala Vertis North. It features a variety of attractions, play areas, and games for toddlers and young children. It’s pretty popular among families looking for a fun and exciting activity together.
They’re open daily, including holidays. They also have branches in Ali Mall Araneta, Ayala Circuit Makati, Ever Commonwealth, Victory Caloocan, and Ayala Manila Bay.
A Fun Morning for Our Little Fam
As mentioned, we visited their branch in Ayala Vertis North since this was just a few minutes away from our house, also known as the Fraggy Home. We went as soon as the mall opened at 11 in the morning. When we arrived at Fun City, there was no line and we were one of the first to enter.
Their rate is P350 per child for an hour and P450 for three hours (inclusive of one adult companion). They then charge P250 for every excess hour. In addition, you need to pay P100 for an extra adult (but they only allow a maximum of one extra adult per child).
Since we felt that an hour would be too bitin, my husband Cayo and I availed of their three-hour rate. It was cheaper compared to getting the one-hour rate and having to pay the excess fee. So in total, we paid P550.
Before entering, the staff at the cashier took our photo as a family. This is their way of keeping track of who the child arrived with.
Some of the things you’ll find inside are inflatables, obstacle courses, giant building blocks, construction sites, a sandbox, karaoke and dance rooms, a water play area, a small basketball court, a big ball pit, and rooms for role-playing.

What to Bring and Expect
Fun City has bathrooms inside however, they weren’t as clean as I hoped. So it’s best to bring your own tissue, wipes, and alcohol. Socks are required so make sure everyone wears a pair. Otherwise, you’ll need to purchase some! Expect to feel sand as well, especially in the areas near the sandbox.
Since we went as soon as the mall opened, there were only a few kids inside. Perhaps less than ten, which was ideal. Cambria had a lot of fun playing in the different areas. Her favorites were the water play area and the room full of giant building blocks. We played for about two hours before she showed signs that she was hungry. So we left and had lunch in this placed called Japan Fudo Street, located on the floor above.
When we went around the mall after lunch, we saw that there were more kids inside Fun City. So I think the best time to go would really be in the morning as soon as the mall opens.
Fun City is the first indoor play place we’ve ever visited as a family so I can’t really compare it yet with others. However, seeing as Cambria had a lot of fun, that’s what matters most!
