The first time I encountered the Penshoppe brand, I think I was in first year high school. It was a brand that made a lot of noise in terms of billboards and other marketing efforts, and at that time, when I was just 13 or 14, I was starting to be drawn towards fashion and Penshoppe had a lot of nice denim jeans that caught my eye.
It was pretty affordable, too! I always loved that I didn’t have to break my wallet when I bought something from their stores, and nowadays, what makes Penshoppe stand out for me is their incredible lineup of international endorsers, one of whom happens to be my girl crush and somewhat a fashion inspiration—Kendall Jenner.
When I was invited to the launch of Penshoppe in UP Town Center, which is dubbed their new flagship store, I was so surprised by the vastness, not to mention, the number of stylish yet reasonably-priced pieces decked all around the brightly-lit establishment. It was honestly so overwhelming being told to shop and grab whatever we liked—I immediately went over to the Denim Lab section to get myself a new pair of jeans, and I ended up coming home with two pairs of pants, a sweatshirt, denim overalls, and a cute statement shirt.
I can’t remember the last time I visited a Penshoppe store, but I’m so glad I was re-introduced to the brand because I realized what I was missing out on. I’m extremely happy with my #PenshoppePicks, and I can’t wait to go back to their flagship store in UP Town Center to scout for more.
