Hire This Hong Kong Photographer for Your Disneyland Visit!

Hey, everybody! Welcome to another travel-related article on Greta’s Junkyard. My name is Gretchen Gatan Fragada and I’m a writer and editor based in Metro Manila, Philippines. Greta’s Junkyard is a blog I started in September 2013 that serves as a dump of all my favorite things. These include mostly topics on fashion, beauty, travel, home, and lifestyle.

Aside from this, I’m the editor-in-chief of The Metro Edit, your curated source of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle in the Metro. On top of being a career woman, I’m a wife to Cayo, a fur mom to Booboo and Bellatrix, and a first-time mom to a toddler daughter named Cambria. If you’re looking to hire a Hong Kong photographer, you’ve come to the right place! Because we recently hired one during our trip to Hong Kong last November!

Our Hong Kong Trip

Early last year, my husband and my brother Reno both won roundtrip tickets to Hong Kong from Cathay Pacific. This sparked the idea that perhaps our whole family should go at the end of 2023. Incidentally, my parents were celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary in December. So my siblings and I decided to surprise them and treat them to a trip to Hong Kong!

We stayed for three nights and four days and booked our stay at Park Hotel, located in the heart of Tsim Tsa Tsui. Attractions we visited included the Symphony of Lights, Ocean Park, and of course, Hong Kong Disneyland!

Because this was a very memorable trip, I decided to hire a Hong Kong photographer who could take our family photos in Disneyland.

Meet Erick Cabs: A Filipino Photographer Based in Hong Kong

While researching for a Hong Kong photographer, I came across numerous recommendations in a mommy Facebook group of Erick Cabs. One of the reasons I wanted to book him right away is because he owns an Annual Pass to Disneyland, which means I didn’t have to buy him a ticket.

He’s so in demand that when I booked him, he was already fully booked from 10 AM onwards. So our slot was around 4 in the afternoon — just before it got dark! During our photo session, I got to know Erick a bit more. He’s a Filipino who has been living in Hong Kong for more than a decade now. He was so down-to-earth and easy to work with. I highly recommend booking him if ever you and your family are planning a trip to Hong Kong.

Memories That Will Last a Lifetime

Because Erick was able to take such beautiful shots of our family, we now have so many photos to remind us of a wonderful trip! Aside from the memories made, what I love about traveling is being able to expose Cambria to new adventures and experiences. At two years old, she has been to two countries already. And I’ve seen the wonder in her eyes and how much traveling has contributed to her growth and development.

If you have any questions about our photo session with Erick, feel free to comment or send me a message on Instagram at @gretchengatan. You can also follow me on Facebook to stay updated with the latest blog posts. I hope you enjoyed reading this article! Until my next one. Thank you for visiting Greta’s Junkyard.
