Hi, everyone! Welcome back to another article on Greta’s Junkyard. If you’re new, this blog serves as a creative outlet where I can dump my favorite things! These include mostly topics on fashion, beauty, travel, lifestyle, and occasionally, motherhood. My name is Gretchen Gatan Fragada, and I’m a writer and editor based in Metro Manila.
I’m also the founder and editor-in-chief of The Metro Edit, your curated source of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle in the Metro. On top of being a career woman, I’m a wife to Cayo, a fur mom to Booboo and Bellatrix, and a proud mom to a toddler daughter named Cambria. When it comes to keeping my little family safe from mosquitoes, I’ve been using Bite Block for more than two years now!How I Discovered Bite Block
For some strange reason, my blood type attracts mosquitoes more than the average person. I noticed this more when I had my own family because every time Cayo, Cambria, and I went on outdoor trips, the mosquitoes would always feast on my legs! Meanwhile, they would never complain about itchy bites. So every time I did the grocery, I’d buy a bottle or two of Bite Block’s Citronella Spray. I’d keep one on my bedside table, my home office desk, and even in the living room. This way, I could easily reach for one every time I needed it (which is quite often during the rainy season!).
I also started keeping around a bottle of their Kids Lotion for Cambria. It’s especially useful whenever we go to the park or on outdoor adventures. I love the Citronella Patches, too! When Cambria was a newborn and couldn’t use the lotion yet, I’d stick them on the side of her crib to keep mosquitoes away. Nowadays, it’s added protection to the lotion (I stick them on her clothes). And yes, sometimes, I use the Citronella Patches on myself!
