If you follow my blog and have read through my updated skincare routine, you’ll know that I am a huge fan and user of Avene’s Eau Thermale Cleanance Gel and Lotion Toner. Their Thermal Spring Water is also a staple in my bag, because it’s convenient to have whenever I need to freshen up.
Imagine my excitement when Avene’s team reached out and asked if I could be one of three beauty bloggers (along with Phya Pineda of phyliciamarie.
com and Genzel Habab of gen-zel.com) to shoot a testimonial video on the Micellar Lotion, a water-based makeup remover infused with cleaning agents and their best-selling Thermal Spring Water. Our videos were aired during the Micellar Lotion’s media launch a couple of weeks ago, where I was also used as a model to demonstrate how Avene was incorporated into my look. The makeup artist for the afternoon was none other than a friend I made during the Maybelline Dream Academy Workshop in partnership with Greta’s Junkyard, Chuchie Ledesma! Chuchie created a day makeup look on me and used Avene’s Thermal Spring Water to avoid my foundation from looking cakey. Phya was also used as a model to demonstrate the day-to-night look, where Chuchie was able to use the Micellar Lotion to remove the day makeup and transform it into an evening look.
It was truly an honor to represent a brand that I’ve always loved and believed in. I’m also glad that they’re easier to find compared to before—they’re now available in SM Makati Department Store, Watsons SM Aura, and Mercury Drug Power Plant to name a few.
