Last year’s E! Bloggers Ball was a huge step out of my comfort zone, having attended it alone (the Cupcake had a sudden business trip out of the country) and not knowing who else was going to be there. But despite being awfully quiet almost the whole night, I had fun! The food was great, I felt like a celebrity walking down the red carpet, and the 360 Selfie was definitely a crowd favorite!
One of the things I enjoyed was people watching and seeing everyone all dolled up in big ball gowns and handsome suits. This year was twice as exciting because I finally got to bring the Cupcake as my date, and we got to enjoy the same things again! I especially loved our 360 Selfie–that was without a doubt outside of his comfort zone. Hahaha!
Just to show you guys snippets of how everyone looked that evening, here are my absolute favorite looks from the E! Bloggers Ball:
Shayne Naidas
Shayne’s signature donut bun is a classic, no-fail style and it complemented her rose gold ensemble really well. I read that she had a bit of trouble with the fitting of her gown a day before the ball, but found a way to remedy it! Check out the story on her Instagram.
Charlene Ajose
I think only a girl with the height and confidence like Charlene can pull off this stunning, bold look and there was just something about her presence that was very captivating.
Sambie Rodriguez
All eyes were on Sambie’s brown and bronzed makeup look, thanks to the magic of her makeup artist, Anthea Bueno.
The Soshal Network
How can you not love these girls? They’re adorable, witty, and stylish–just take a look at their coordinated outfits, which they called, “Duster Chic.”
Nicole Syjuco
I’m normally used to seeing Nicole’s street-style OOTD’s on her Instagram, and seeing her simple yet breathtaking gown by Boom Sason blew me away. She reminded me so much of Angelie Jolie that evening!
Angel Yeo
The moment I saw Angel’s gown, I immediately knew the designer behind it–none other than Rosenthal Tee (check out my Artist Profile article of her on Calyxta). It was just so distinct–the structured sophistication of it all. Angel definitely knew how to rock it, too.
Bea Marin
Another Rosenthal Tee piece, Bea’s midnightblue gown screamed elegance and I just couldn’t stop staring at it.
Pia Danielle Padre
My absolute favorite look of the night! Everything from the makeup to the design of her gown was impeccably chic. I immediately developed a girl crush on Pia. She was a vision in red, and I’m just so in love with the entire look.
