Once upon a time in high school, I had a thing for colorful socks. I used to love wearing different styles and patterns, to the point that I’d even wear them to my softball games even though they weren’t sports socks!
That love for colorful socks was ignited when Happy Socks sent me three of their designs to try (and eventually share with my sister and cousin, who also love wearing colorful socks.
I guess it’s in our genes!).What I love about them is the uniqueness of their designs, which are all made in Sweden—how can you not feel giddy whenever you see all those cute polka dots? The quality of the fabric is another thing, because it’s really snug and not the type to get flimsy easily. It’s made with high-quality combed cotton, allowing the socks to last longer, which in turn makes every customer happy. The toe and heel parts are reinforced to prevent socks from breaking. Each pair goes through rigorous tests in their Turkish factories (one during production and one before shipping) to ensure toughness and the highest possible quality. A process called Silicon Washing is also implemented, so that the socks will feel better on each feet and won’t shrink whenever they are washed.
It was interesting to read about how it all started in April of 2008—two friends shared a vision of spreading happiness by turning an everyday essential into a colorful design piece with a rigid standard of ultimate quality, craftsmanship, and creativity. This concept was brought to perfection by the Happy Socks collective of creators.
Today, Happy Socks is available in more than 70 countries and just recently, Happy Socks launched in the Philippines to provide Filipinos with high-quality socks for every occasion, mindset, and style.
