It seems just like yesterday when I attended the Zen Zest event last year, where the brand celebrated 15 years of scent-sational fragrances. This year, they’re bringing the scentsation into our homes with their line of Zen Zest Home and Aromatherapy (my favorite out of all their collections!).
I definitely believe in Zen Zest when they say that there’s power in scent, and that the right aroma can relax the mind, uplift the heart, and energize the body.
I’ve always had my scent staples which include their Forest Bamboo, Green Tea, Lemongrass and Eucalyptus Home Deodorizers (Php 300 for 250ml). There’s one in my bathroom, one in our living room (which I often spray whenever we have guests to get rid of the lingering odor of our pets, especially when they’re due for a bath), and one right beside my bed.You can choose from a wide variety of scents, from earthy anti-tobacco concoctions like cedarwood, bergamot and pine (to clear the air for easy breathing), or peony, iris and fiesta blossoms (to keep your linen smelling freshly laundered). They also have anti-mosquito scents like citronella, lemongrass and eucalyptus, but if you want something delicious, their mix of chocolate cappuccino will transform any room to a sweet-tooth’s haven.
The apple of my eye during the event last week at Vanilla Cupcake Bakery in Bonifacio Global City was when they introduced their electric scent diffuser and humidifier (Php 1,500)—something I’ve been wanting to get for my woman-cave for a while now! It clears the air and brings the scentsational spa experience to any room, which is why I’ve been using it every single day ever since they gave me one. It came with specially formulated fragrance oils (Php 500 for 100ml) that definitely envelope my space with the power of aromatherapy.
I’m so in love with my new electric scent diffuser and humidifier—it’s so easy to use, I love that it changes color or you can choose which color you want it to stay in (I always choose teal or blue, so that it also sort of acts like my nightlight), and you can set a timer. If you don’t have one yet, I highly suggest getting one because it’s such an affordable way to relieve your stress and ignite your senses. It helps me sleep better at night, too.
