K-Palette Lasting Cheek Tint Review and Swatches

Just when I thought I couldn’t fall in love with one of my favorite beauty brands more than I already have, they keep coming up with ways to make me fall even harder. K-Palette and I go way back in 2013 when my love for all things beauty had slowly begun—I discovered them in a random Beauty Bar branch, bought their eyeliner and eyebrow pen, and even wrote a review here.

I think that was one of my first reviews to ever write on the blog. Soon after, I even wrote an article on how to fill in eyebrows using the same pen, and looking back at it all makes me cringe and laugh at the same time. I looked so different five years ago!

After that, I even became part of K-Palette’s first and second digital campaigns back in October 2016 and 2017, where I got to experience incredibly fun photo shoots with the one and only Pat Dy.

Earlier this year, they launched their first line of limited edition lippies (better known as their Lasting Lip Tints), which I wrote a capsule review on Instagram:

And just this month, they surprised me again with another set of products—their limited edition Lasting Cheek Tints!

From my brows, to my lips, to my cheeks, K-Palette has definitely taken over my everyday makeup kit. It’s so easy and convenient to just do my makeup in the car on the way to work. I just fill in the sparse areas of my brows with the powder tip of the Lasting 2Way Eyebrow Pen, dab on the Peach shade of the Lasting Cheek Tint (since this is the most natural-looking shade on me), and apply the Lasting Lip Tint in Rose—and I’m done! It takes me less than five minutes to do everything.

In terms of longevity, the Lasting Cheek Tint does last longer than my usual tints. I even wore it a couple of times to my Ultimate Frisbee games, and despite the sweat (and wiping my face once in a while), there would still be a hint of cheek tint left. Packaging-wise, it’s very convenient to bring. It’s practically weightless, and it comes in a flat pot (with a mirror!) that’s as slim as my iPhone and that can easily be inserted even in a small clutch. Price point, it’s at PhP 795 and while some would say that it’s a little bit expensive, I think it’s worth it given the formulation, quality, and longevity. Plus, it’s the perfect dupe to Glossier’s Cloud Paints, because the shades are very similar to Puff (Peach), Beam (Orange), and Haze (Rose). My only issue would be hygiene, because to apply the product, I would need to dip my finger on the pot each time. So just for good measure, I make sure to spray my hands with alcohol or a hand sanitizer, before touching the product and applying it on my cheeks. Other than that, I really recommend these cheek tints to women who are always on-the-go and have zero time to do their makeup in the morning!
