Hi, everyone! Welcome back to another skincare-related article. If you’re new here, my name is Gretchen Gatan Fragada and I’m a writer and editor based in Metro Manila. I’m also a wife to Cayo, a veteran fur mom to a 12-year-old dog named Booboo and a 6-year-old cat named Bellatrix, and a first-time mom to a toddler daughter named Cambria.
Greta’s Junkyard is a lifestyle blog I started in 2013. It’s basically a dump of my favorite topics, one of which is beauty! If you’re looking for a good sunscreen brand to add to your daily skincare routine, I highly recommend the Anessa sunscreen. Particularly the Moisture UV Sunscreen Mild Gel variant. This Anessa Sunscreen is Great for Sensitive Skin
I still remember attending the virtual launch of this Anessa sunscreen back in October 2021. At that time, I was seven months pregnant with Cambria and was very particular about the skincare products I was using. Additionally, because of hormonal changes, I was experiencing melasma and skin sensitivity. So it was timely that I discovered the Anessa UV Mild Gel. It’s a watery sunscreen gel with SPF 35 and PA+++. With their Core Corona Emulsification Technology, the UV Mild Gel can moisturize as soon as it’s applied. It offers a dewy finish as well!
An Advocate of Anessa Since I Discovered Them
Before Anessa even launched in the Philippines, I was already a big fan of the brand, which is from Japan. Years ago, whenever friends or family would fly there and ask what pasalubong I wanted, I’d always request Anessa’s UV Sunscreen Skincare Milk. After all, they are the sun care expert brand of Shiseido, another brand I trust and vouch for.
But ever since Anessa became easily available here, I’d switch up any of their sunscreen variants just to try it out! Aside from the UV Mild Gel and UV Sunscreen Skincare Milk, I’ve also tried their Mild Milk, a variant ideal for oily and sensitive skin.
What I like about Anessa’s suncreen products is that they don’t leave a white cast. You can wear them under makeup and they can even serve as a primer! Plus you can easily remove them with just soap or a cleanser. Their UV Mild Gel and Mild Milk are safe to use on little ones as well. In fact, whenever Cambria has swimming lessons in EDSA Shangri-La, I would use the UV Mild Gel on her, too!
Anessa at Greta’s Junkyard Turns 10
Recently, my blog celebrated its 10th anniversary and I’m so grateful to Anessa for sponsoring their UV Mild Gel variant to give away to my readers. I’m sure even they can vouch for how good the product is!
